The nation’s largest network of leisure travel agencies rewards students for using their GPS (Global Positioning Skills) rather than their GPA! In the past five years, the AAA Travel High School Challenge has awarded more than $600,000 in scholarships and prizes to top students around the country. The AAA Travel High School Challenge tests students’ knowledge of U.S. and world geography with a focus on travel and tourism.
Travel-specific scholarships for those interested in careers in the travel and tourism industry will be rewarded from eligible entries received from students who enrolled specifically in the Challenge to be eligible.
Eligibility
AAA membership is not required to participate. The AAA Travel High School Challenge ("the Challenge") is offered only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (herein referred to as a state) who are students enrolled in the recognized grades 9 through 12 of an accredited public or private junior high school or high school, and/or a certified home schooling program.
