Education Level: college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors
Eligibility
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens;
- Applicants must attend a COHEAO Member School;
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale;
- Only undergraduate students, who are entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year, are eligible to apply: freshmen and graduate students are not eligible;
- Only one scholarship per family per academic year will be awarded; and
- COHEAO members and their immediate family members are not eligible for COHEAO scholarships.
Three $500 scholarhsips and three $1,000 scholarships are given out under this program. To find out if your college, university, community college, or technical school is a member of COHEAO, making you eligible for the scholarship, click the COHEAO Member School link at www.coheao.com. The only way to apply for this scholarship is through the Web site. Before you can access the online application though, the Web site will check your eligibility requirements. You must provide a satisfactory response to each question asked in the Application Wizard to get you advance to next step. If you don;t meet one of the eligibility requirements, a Web page will appear that tells you that you were disqualified and you will be unable to access the application.
