Student Scholarships
Royal Neighbors of America (RNA) Scholarships
Five different scholarships are available under this program to RNA members:
Making a Difference Scholarships
These scholarships are provided to students in the top quarter of their senior class with highest national test scores, immediately upon graduation from high school. Applicants must have a qualifying Royal Neighbors beneficial certificate and a record of volunteerism. Ten, $2,000, four-year, renewable scholarships awarded annually.
Know Your Worth Scholarship
The scholarship provides educational opportunities to outstanding young women by annually awarding a $5,000-per-year, four-year scholarship to the most qualified female applicant chosen from the combined pool of applicants for the Making a Difference and New Horizons scholarships. The recipient must be accepted at a four-year accredited college as a full-time student.
Life Enrichment Scholarships
This scholarship is designed for beneficial members ages 35 and older who are interested in continuing their education through short-term courses. Five awards of a maximum of $250 will be made to those who complete the required form and provide any additional requested information.
State/Territorial Scholarships
More than 20 individual states/territories will award nonrenewable scholarships for $500 or $1,000 to high school seniors.
New Horizons Scholarships
Royal Neighbors "nontraditional" scholarship program provides educational support to members who don't fall into the usual college age range. Five scholarships are open to female members ages 35 and older. Scholarship amounts are available up to $5,000 for part-time students or full-time students enrolled at an accredited college, university, junior college, or vocational school.
