College scholarship for Women
Mary Rubin and Benjamin M. Rubin Scholarship
This Fund, established in 1988, is a nonsectarian endowment fund of The ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore. It provides scholarship grants for tuition only to women who are attending an accredited college, university or other institution of higher learning.
Amount of Scholarship: $500 to $2,500

Education Level: college sophomores, juniors, and seniors and graduate students

Eligibility: Applicant must:
- be female, enroll at an accredited institution of higher education.
- be a permanent resident of the State of Maryland.
- have been out of high school for at least twelve months.
- have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, on a 4.0 scale.
- married applicant: Combined adjusted gross income must be less than $50,000, with an additional $7,500 allowed for each dependent
- single applicant: Maximum adjusted gross income is $30,000 plus an additional $10,000 allowed for each dependent.
Awards are based on a combination of factors including academic achievement, extracurricular activities and financial need.
