Third Wave Scholarship
Scholarship sponsered by Third Wave Foundation to help organizations led by young women and transgender youth to support technical assistance, skills development of staff or board members, or organizational capacity.
Amount of Scholarship: $1,000 to $3,000
Deadline: May 1 and November 1
Education Level: high school seniors, college undergraduates, and graduate students.

Eligibility: Applicant must be female, be under the age of 30; enroll at an accredited two-year college, four-year college, or university, and demonstrate financial need.
Third Wave funds models of community organizing, legislative advocacy and public education that actively engage the affected community and their allies, foster leadership development, and build the skills of members to collectively shape and transform social conditions or institutional policies relevant to the reproductive health of the community. Third Wave also supports direct service or prevention efforts that have an integral social change component.
