To be eligible even to apply for this scholarship, you must be nominated by a teacher or professor as an All-American Scholar. The scholarship is awarded entirely based on academic scores and achievements. If you feel that you can compete, you should persuade a teacher who knows you well to nominate you. The teacher can nominate you online by clicking the Nominations button on the scholarship's Web page and filling out the electronic nomination form. After you have been nominated you will receive a biographical data form in hte mail; fill this out and return it as instructed to obtain a copy of the scholarhip application. Even if you don't win the scholarship, being recognized as an All-American Scholar will make a nice addition to your academic resume.
